East | West

In October of 2005 I visited Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou and Suzhou in a first attempt to establish contact with fellow Chinese designers. The aim of the trip was make a start at exploring the possibilities of working in China.
As I knew no one, and no one knew me, I decided to make a website to introduce myself and my work. That is the East | West site. My efforts resulted in several meetings with Xiao Yong, Chen Zhengda, and invitations to give presentations at various art schools in Hangzhou, Beiijing and Suzhou.
